Ultrasonic it sends streams of high speed ultrasonic vibrations into the skin layers at 1.1 mhz. The Cold/Hot Hammer cools and soothes the skin with the cold side and warms the skin on the other side. Warming the skin opens pores and helps products to penetrate more deeply and cooling the skin helps to close the skin pores.
